Please read through our Terms and Conditions carefully so that you fully understand. By placing an order with us on our website you are agreeing with these Terms and Conditions.

Right to Cancel
Complying with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, You have the right to cancel an order and return the goods to us which is subject to the following conditions:
- You must inform us in writing of the cancellation within 14 calendar days from the day after your order has been delivered.
- The goods being returned must be unused, in an undamaged condition and in original packaging with a copy of the invoice so we can identify you as the buyer of the goods.
- Any goods returned to us without documentation included which identifies the buyer will be treated as being abandoned to us.
- The return of any unwanted goods will be at your expense.
- All returned goods must be received within 14 days after confirmation has been given to return the goods.
- All non-faulty or undamaged goods which arrive back at us which are damaged or not in a resalable condition will not be given a refund.
- All goods are your responsibility for any damage that may occur in transit until we receive the goods.
- Proof of postage for the returning goods should be obtained in the event of goods being lost in transit.
On receiving the returned goods under these conditions, we will refund the purchase price (less any original carriage cost) as soon as possible or within 14 days.
Please note: Certain types of goods cannot be returned under these regulations. This includes perishable goods, livestock and any item supplied custom-made or to customer specification.
Damaged / Faulty Goods
Do not accept delivery or sign for if there is any indication of damage caused to your goods.
You must contact us in writing or email within 14 day for return if you have any damaged / faulty goods with the invoice so we can identify you. We require information / photos of the damage or fault to be accessed.
You can bring any damaged or faulty item to our retail store once you have contacted us within 14 days and with the invoice to be accessed for your convenience.
We will inspect the goods once we receive them. If an item return is damaged we will access it and either repair or replace but on some occasions we might need to send it back to the manufacturer for tests. Once the item has been checked and if it is found that it is your fault (including incorrect usage) you will be liable for any costs to set right the damage. If an item is returned as faulty we will access it and either repair or replace but on some occasions we might need to send it back to the manufacturer for tests. Home Marine does not accept liability for resulting loss due to damage, faulty items or personal injury occurred from equipment or livestock purchased.
Delivery
All dry goods orders that are in stock placed before 11am Monday to Friday (excludes Bank Holidays) will be shipped the same day except Friday orders that should arrive Monday, Weekend orders will be shipped Monday (excludes Bank Holiday), (excluding pallet deliveries & unless otherwise stated). Your order will be shipped via APC to Mainland UK and some areas of Scotland. Remote areas like Scottish Highlands will incur extra delivery charges and will be priced on an individual basis. Please contact us for quotations before ordering.
We currently are unable to deliver internationally or outside of the UK Mainland and some areas of Scotland.
If an item becomes out of stock/unavailable/items that needs to be ordered in for you and larger items i.e. aquariums and chillers, we will contact you via email giving you an estimated time of arrival.
All dry goods deliveries (excluding pallets deliveries) over £50.00 will be shipped free via APC Next Working Day excluding Weekends and Bank Holiday. Upon your order being shipped, you will be notified via email. Goods on pallets i.e. aquariums and chillers may require up to 5-7 working days for delivery, we will contact you via email with an estimated delivery time. Special Orders may take longer.
Dry goods orders under £50.00 will be shipped via APC Next Working Day (£6.99) up to 20kg.
Please Note: All large aquariums and large items will be pallet deliveries and will be curb side dropped.
Please be aware that we use third party courier services. We will do our very best to ensure that you receive your delivery on time and undamaged but we will not be held accountable for any delays caused by the courier service.
Click and Collect service is also offered on all items in store. This includes both dry goods and livestock and will be managed on a customer by customer basis. Please Note: Goods on pallets i.e. aquariums and chillers may require up to 5-7 working days for delivery to store, we will contact you via email with an estimated delivery time. Please do not travel to collect your order until you have received your email confirming that your order is ready for collection. You will need to bring the confirmation email and photo ID with you, this must match the details on your order. You cannot collect your order until you have received this email. This email can be printed or presented on a mobile phone or tablet. We will hold your order for up to 7 days for you to collect from the designated collection day.
Marine Livestock can only be purchases via Click and Collect service at this present time. Please do not travel to collect your order until you have received your email confirming that your order is ready for collection. You will need to bring the confirmation email and photo ID with you, this must match the details on your order. You cannot collect your order until you have received this email. This email can be printed or presented on a mobile phone or tablet. We will hold your order for upto 5 days for you to collect from the designated collection day.
Dry goods special orders may take longer to deliver and there is no guaranteed next day delivery.
In some cases local deliveries can be offered for both dry goods and livestock. Larger and more expensive items like aquariums and chillers can also be delivered. Cost for this service will be calculated and confirmed before delivery. Please contact us before ordering.
Out of stock
In an unlikely event of a listing becoming out of stock, we will contact you to offer an alternative, refund or when the item is likely to be back in stock and dispatch time.

Click and collect
Any dry good orders placed on Click and Collect and not collected within six month will be classed as abandoned. Any marine livestock orders not collected within 8 days will be classed as abandoned.
Terms and Conditions Changes
From time to time the Terms and Conditions can change due to the changes in law but this will not affect the Terms and Conditions at the time of ordering.
Pricing and Accuracy
All prices on our website are in Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT @ 20% but does not include delivery.
Home Marine reserves the right to change the prices at any time or specification of any of the items sold on this website.
In case of an error in pricing of a product, we have the right to refuse or cancel any orders with the incorrect price even if the order has been confirmed.
Home Marine relies on the manufacturers and suppliers for supplying the product information. We make every effort to ensure that all product information is accurate or up to date. We do not guarantee that this information is accurate or up to date. We will not be liable for any damages that may result in the use of this website and any information contained within it.
Images of the products on the website are for illustration purposes as the manufacturers might change designs and specifications from time to time. Livestock images on the website are for illustration purposes unless otherwise stated with the image.
We reserve the right to withdraw any goods for our website at any time. We will not be liable to you or anyone else for withdrawing goods from the website.
